1001 POTS
Welcome to my new blog, new website graciously and patiently organized by Marielle, who is also apprenticing with me while juggling her professional and very busy personal lives.
Every summer, for the past 29 years, Val David has seen the arrival of 100 potters coming to exhibit in Kinya Ishikawa's garden for the 1001POTS show. With time, the show has grown, developed to include juried galleries, a brilliant integration of pottery, nature, and art into a magnificent garden, the Jardin de Silice, a tea room, teaching pavilion, demonstrations and a beautiful community of potters, and ceramic artists. This years' events continue until August 13. open every day ,10-6, rain or shine. My site is C4, with work in both galleries.
