For the past 40 years, I have been working as a studio potter in Val David, QC. The studio is a busy place with works in progress, students, visitors and a big , black shaggy dog. In the background we are often listening to my partner, Alan Gerber playing the piano and singing, preparing for a concert. Our lives revolve around studios, family, community and nature. Surrounded by forests, beside a lake at the foot of mountains softened by time, nature plays a big part in my visual world. Leaves under running water, ice, the bark of trees, my garden of flowers,  and vegetables , this is what influences my work.
